That matches my take on it Frank. IMNSHO Nitros9 IS our Unix. It taught
me enough about os's in general, the architecture & methods, that I had no
interest in ever joining the windows scene, so I didn't. Amigados was my
stepping stone from the coco to big x86 based boxes running linux, a very
fragile stepping stone because of its lack of proper memory management.
Any pointer being used as a write pointer, could go wild and trash
amigados, and I certainly looked at my share of guru screens even on boxes
that did have mmu's.
