Hi Nick,
That sounds awesome. I would love to drop by...but...
It's a long road trip from where I'm located just outside of Melbourne.
Google reckons 1,600 km (Nearly 1000 miles) away. 17 hours driving.
So probably not going to happen this weekend :-)

Would be cool to hang out with a couple of Ozzie CoCo legends :-)

Although my first introduction to the CoCo was way back in 1983,
I never got my own until a couple of years ago...and even then I
had no external media other than a few ROM PAKS & drivewire from my
laptop, including having to load HDB-DOS DW via a .wav file from my
laptop. That all change exactly a month ago when I received the CoCo
SDC, and then a week ago a couple of Glenside IDE adapters.
I have played around with both a fair bit already and having a ball
with it all. Loving the convenience of both & they work great together
as well...I've gone from basically nothing to almost the ultimate CoCo
setup (with minimal footprint) I reckon, all powered form the CoCO, no
extra power cables or mess. CoCo3 512K + CoCo SDC + Glenside IDE.

If you have the CoCo guy's, a Commodore guy, & an Apple guy...I could
have been the Amstrad guy, as this is what I grew up with and have a
fairly extensive collection from around the world including the very
rare Spanish Amstrad CPC472. I could have even demo'd SymbOS for you ;-)

Anyway, another time maybe. Sounds like fun.

Cheers,
Shane
