There are some Chinese manufacturer who make cases in different sizes
(e.g. 86*51*22mm) and can offer customization of holes and slots. One
I asked had such cases for 2-3 dollars (including shipping) and
cutting holes would be 50 USD extra or for free if more than 50 cases.
Just the cases as-is can be had cheaper other places though. But they
would probably not be ideal with the right stand-offs etc for the
cartridge PCB. However, I think if many people come together to buy a
large batch (hundreds) a customized case could become really cheap.

Which also brings me to this question: Is there a norm / best practice
for where the screw holes should be on the PCB? I don't have any
experience with cartridges (except Luis's CRT9128 board), but I might
be making some cartridges in the future. Would be helpful to design
PCBs that would fit a majority of cartridge cases - or a case design
that others would also agree on for a common order.

So as I see it:
Large cartridges -> get from Mark Marlette
Small cartridge one-off -> get from Ron
Small cartridge many -> ? (opportunity for cooperation and group order)
