[Coco] MESS on Raspberry Pi

Well the way I set it up on my Pi is the folder I extracted the source files already had the cfg, artwork, etc folders as well as mess.ini so I just created rom and Software folders inside that folder and copied my Boot and VHD to the software/coco3h folder. Altered the mess.ini to reflect the paths. My command line from console is ‘./mess coco3h -flop0 ./software/coco3h/Nitros9_Boot.dsk -hard ./software/coco3h/Nitros9.vhd -ram 2m’. Yeah it is bit slow but not bad. Are you running a stripped down wheezy? I also have several other servers running on my Pi and have not tried running raw wheezy alone. Curious if that might speed things up a bit. The fastest I get is directly on the Pi with KB/Mouse and Composite, I can’t get HDMI working anymore (did work but stopped) on my Pi. Don’t even bother trying though Remote Desktop, it’s pathetic then.

The compile took just about an hour to complete, but seems quite stable. I took my entire VHD and boot disk dropped it on a 32gb card and voila a Coco 3 on a Pi.
