The original copy does not require you to enter the filename twice unless
you are in a different data directory from the destination. For example, if
you are currently CHD'd to /DD and the file you want to copy is in /D0, all
you need type is copy /d0/filename (assuming the destination is /DD), and
the file will be copied to /DD. Changing directories may not be your idea
of simple, but you can always use the standard format of copy
origin/filespec destination/filespec if you don't feel like changing
directories.
