Tim,

Backup will work on DW, however, you must have the descriptors set 
identically with regards to tracks/sectors etc. I know, 'cos I have used it 
like that.

Also, there's no reason that I know of that would prevent dsave from 
creating a boot floppy; you do need to have OS9Gen available, though. Check 
the options of dsave and os9gen.
