Ah, it's all coming back to me.

I have no INS key, either, on this laptop keyboard.

Yeah, there's a way to do it -- I used to know, but it wasn't obvious and it wasn't easily documented. It's like having a great word processor but in order to save you have to do Alt-F4-LeftShift+Q... Sure, you can learn it, but maybe you'll just stick with Notepad.
