I tried that in the xroar.conf file, but ?MEM kept showing 31015 with Color Basic. I'll try the way you mentioned. Thank you for the information.

By using “xroar -ram 4” to make it have 4K, I see “?MEM” shows 2343. That is with whatever memory is already reserved for BASIC.
Doing a "CLEAR 0” then shows 2543 bytes.
