True. It is only a text adventure and 32 columns does the job.
Just thought it would be nice to see it on a higher density screen.

 That's a good question and I'm trying to get information on that from
Allen Huffman.

 At one time a patch was available but when I look at the Zork game
engine, there 
 are several routines that write to the text screen at $400 and more
routines 
 that keep track of the cursor location on that screen.
 I don't see any simple method to force a 40/80 screen. Actually I
don't see much 
 advantage to that given how the game works.
