I've found the compiled B09 file to be no faster than the uncompiled B09
program.
I've also notice that the compiled version is smaller in size and if you
use several routines, it all compiles into one file, making it even smaller
than the files compiled seperately..
I have also found that it is much faster than RSBasic. It is more flexible
with more options.
I've programmed(for MY needs in both) and found B09 to be far superior to
RSBasic.
The only problem is that OS9 has to be loaded where in RSDos, it does not
require anything but to load the Basic program.
This isn't an issue for me as once OS9 is loaded, all is well.
I fell in love with B09 many years ago when I got a CC3, uprgraded it to
512K and rediscovered the power of OS9 and Basic09.
Prior to that, I didn't care for it on a 64k CC or a 128k CC3. That's the
way I like it, 512K CC3!!
