[Coco] Intro and need some help (Was: Re: (no subject))

Bill,

Boisy released SuperDriver and HDB-DOS and are now in the public domain.

Setime and date -t are the system tools for the clock.

I have a few SuperIDEs left from the current production run. Thanks for the kind words, no one has ever said they were disappointed in that product. We put a lot of effort in this design, geez 2004 it was released to production.


It is night / day from a CC1-2 to a 3, IMHO as well. I went from a CC1 -> a CC3. As the SuperIDE works on a CC1-2, I don't have a distribution for that platform. 


I should go in and fix the issue Luis and you have brought forward, but there is only so much free time for something that is now basically free. I'll put it on my to do list. I really should make a new distro with the current build, that takes longer, update images, etc.

Well, I have been away from OS9 for over 15 years, but I have also
been a systems programmer for over 30.

Are these in the Nitros9 sources?  I thought they were proprietary
to Cloud9?

And, the big question is why do they work from the floppy and not
from the hard disk?  Surely the system can't tell where they are
coming from.

Hmmm...  OK, I thought setime set the syetm time.  I didn't see
anything that said it set the rtc as well.  I'll try it tomorrow.

BY the way, I love this SuperIDE.  Hope you have more as I may
want to buy another one (or two).  And, if there are still some
left, I may want another COCO III.  Somehow I don't think I could
go back to my COCO II (or original COCO for that matter).
