[Coco] So is this a G board?

Darren,

This is a good point.

Luis you could be getting some bus contention issues if in MPI and FD ghosts to FF5x region....If no MPI, SLENB* goes back to the CC3's 138 decoder I ***think*** been awhile...2004... :) and it removes an enable and forces all decode to not occur.

Thus the flakyness.

SLENB* removes all other devices from the bus and allows the cartridge to take over.

The cap would delay this and the sIDE would think it is all clear......

Regards,
Mark

You may want to try disabling capacitor C77 on the motherboard (clip
the leg closest to the cartridge port).  This capacitor tends to cause
problems with cartridges that use the SLENB* signal (like SuperIDE).
The "F' board (285) is the only one that has such a capacitor on the
SLENB* line.
