[Coco] Quick silly question

Mike,
if you're trying to clear the screen on a terminal *external* to the Coco, 
then you need to use that terminal's code. If the terminal uses VT100 for 
example, the code is:

<ESC>[2J

On a VT52 terminal (such as the Atari ST) the codes are:

<esc>E

Hyperterminal, TerraTerm etc, usually respond to VT100 codes.
