Phillip,
I too use to use Burke & Burke's XT-ROM and an ST-225 MFM hard drive. If
fact I still have the hard drive. I never had the heart to throw it away.
Now I too am playing with the very first computer I ever used ... again! I
love this ole 8-bit beloved Coco. I used both OS-9 L1 and LII.
Could I be of any help? I still have all my old floppies. I just don't
know if I have a blank 5.25 DSDD and 5.25 DSHD floppy to test the 40-track
and 80-track DS 5.25 drives I recently found and put on line. I wouldn't
want to kill any perfectly good ole floppies I have. They worked perfectly
way back when. Please let me know if I need to pull out my old PC to read
these things. :) Thanks.
Kip

Subject: [Coco] NitrOS9 and B&B XT-RTC
I'm trying to get my CoCo3 system going after too many years away :)
I'm having trouble finding drivers for my B&B XT-RTC so I can see what's on
my ST-225 hard drive.
I don't need to boot to the hard drive, just be able to access it.
My current system is CoCo 3 (6309) 512K with MPI (FDC slot 4, B&B slot 3,
RS232Pak slot 2 and SuperIDE slot 1). I have a CF card in the SuperIDE but
I'm mostly using drivewire.
FYI. the ST-225 was my primary hard drive and I did boot to it with XT-ROM
2.4. It had stock OS9L2 on it. I'm hoping to grab a lot of my C source
files from it.
Any help would be appreciated. I used to be good at this 20 years ago!
Thanks,
Philip Zeigler
