SuperDriver is open source!!!!! Change away!!!!!

:)

I don't care who you are and how verse you are in retro computers. This was his first coco and it is unrealistic to build a kernel in your first 10 minutes on your own.....If he can, which I know he can't, I missed that book! :)

The reason, I don't answer directly to your questions are. The end user NEEDS to understand where the information is located in the documentation. Use the SOURCE LUKE! :) Understanding the docs and location of the information will make you an expert...Heck I had to pull a doc the other day....but I knew where to look...and that is the goal. As going to the list is nice, the docs are quicker once you have mastered them.

Luis- Has replied, as always, spot on..... :) I will speak to Boisy on this as well....lots to do.....

Regards,

Mark

Gene's explanation was concise, and (as usual) accurate. Maybe he'll let you
include that in your docs :P

Actually, the man is very knowledgeable about computers and OS details. The
Coco is only the latest addition to his collection of "retro" computers, and
he is a quick study.

Ah, so maybe I can expect to hear from Chris soon?

I'm a very big fan of VED also, having used it since very early in its
history. I'd love to see Bob van der Poel release it to the Coco community,
but that's his call.

I must have missed his email about that. I searched my own storage of Coco
emails, but came up blank.

I know how hard it is to strike a balance between writing for new users and
"old hands". I used to edit the Australian OS9 Newsletter (along with Don
Berrie and Gordon Bentzen).

Hmm, sounds interesting.....
