Bob,
I may try using ezgen. That may work to get emudsk into the boot. I know I had it running before with emudsk.

It still puts us back to ver 1.22n. But it would be nice to see it boot. Then maybe someone will work on the ioman, krn, clock and krnp2 to make it work with 3.29.

That disk is set up to work with a SCSI HD. It uses SCSISYS as the driver. 
You *should* be able to replace that driver with EMUDSK (and the 
descriptors, too) and it should work on VCC & MESS.
