So, for those that are following my Video's and such on you-tube..
Yesterday, I got a huge package of CoCo stuff from a guy name Chris in Quebec (he never gave me his last name) and I did an "unboxing" video on it last night posted to You-tube.
Chris actually saw the video and clarified a few things.
First , the "unknown" circuit board is in fact a floppy drive extension card. As I understand it, if you replaced a full hight floppy drive in one of the "long" cases and the replacement drive was shorter, this card extended out so you could plug the cable into it.
Second, a few years back, Chris decided to clone the Diecom Light phaser adaptor (not sure if he got the licence for it) and reproduced a few dozen of them- sold them all. This was the prototype unit. I also have a few games written by Chris-one called "mastermind" -I am not sure if he ever released them.
So, instead of dealing with a seller that knew absolutely nothing about what he was selling, I got a seller that actually was involved with the community at one time and knew more than I did LOL.
Anyways, I just thought I would share, and Videos of everything will be coming.....
