Hey, for $1000 I'd sell my beloved white CoCo 1, too... maybe.   
Another nice aspect of this "melted keyboard" model is that a large  
number of the IC's are socketed.  I kind of like to think that Tandy  
went all out for their last CoCo 1's before introducing the cheaper  
built CoCo 2's.
