[Coco] Problem with NitrOS9 and my PC

I know the only time I see the BSOD n dw4 or the emulators is when I try to read a disk in cetain DMK formats. I had a lot of these disks that I used with David Keil's emulator before VCC matured. I've now converted all these to JVC format and see no problems.
Though you said you were trying to read a nitros9 disk. If it cam from the nitros9 repo, it should be in JVC or compatible format.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling both dw4 and java?
Also, are you using the proper nitros9 boot for your system? If it's a standard floppy boot, it will not boot from dw4. You need the disk marked for dw to boot from dw. This shouldn't bring the BSOD though.

Bill,
You didn't state what you are using. Are you using an emulator? Drivewire?
