Is there something non-standard or strange about the composite video
from the COCO? I have tried hooking it up to a number of monitors I
have that support composite inputs but the video either doesn't work
at all or is garbled or in someway unable to be used. I always assumed
it was the same reason why modern VGA monitors don't work with other
older systems, scan rate problems. But I had reason to fire-up a few
Apple ][ systems (before giving them away to a good home) and hooked
up to the same monitors they displayed just fine using composite video.
Is there an adjustment inside a COCO 3 that might need tweaking after
sitting for more than a decade to make the composite video work ok?
Oh yeah, I also have a couple adapters that take composite in and
provide VGA out and the COCO doesn't work with them either. I didn't
think to try the Apple on them, but I will tonite.
