Frank,
What does "microconductor" really mean?  Will it short out contacts?  It
must not or it wouldn't be used.  DeoxIt sounds very interesting!  I will
look into it.

When using the DeoxIT don't put mineral oil on the connectors.

The DeoxIT gold is an oil and will protect the contacts from oxidation. It
also acts as a micro conductor that helps improve the connectivity.
