Had there been any mention of OS9 let alone Nitros9, there would be little
in favor of the C64.
The C64 has better sound capability, but has anyone ever seen the wide
array of hardware add-ons available for the C64 that there was (and still
is)
for the Coco?

I don't believe I've seen or heard of anyone connecting HDDs, high-speed
serial ports, ramdisk cartridges,hi-res joysticks etc to a C64.
