[Coco] Adapting a V9958 64-pin Chip to fit a Solderless Breadboard

I'm almost finished with building my version of SiMon6809 with a more
versatile address decoding logic to facilitate experimentation. I think I
have come up with a very interesting address decoding design based on many
of the projects I've seen here and around the internet.
There are various 8-bit compatible chips available that I want to play with
to get my feet wet. I know it will be very simple to those of you who have
been doing this awhile, but I'm proud of it. You know, baby steps and all.
That's what I like about this group, everyone helps everyone.
I want to share this with everyone and as soon as I get a web site up, I let
you guys know about it. In the meantime, you can read about SiMon6809 at
the following web site.
http://www.8bitforce.com/simon6809/
He mentions a SiMon6809 Turbo version, but as yet he has not released any
schematics. We are waiting...

My chip has arrived, so I now have this really cool V9958 Video Display
Processor that I want to add to my SiMon6809 computer so I can play with it,
but it won't fit into my breadboard. It uses 0.07" pin spacing instead of
0.1" pin spacing. I guess to keep it from being as big as the original
MC68000 MPU. That was an enormous chip, but I loved it!
I scoured the internet last night looking for sdip64 to dip64 adapters, but
I couldn't find any. :( Correction, I found one for several hundred $.
Wow! It seemed to me just an sdip64 zif socket on a PCB with header pins
sticking out the bottom so it will fit a programmer.
I wonder if any hobbyists have completed an sdip64 to dip64 adapter PCB. I
am definitely interested in getting one. I'm still looking.

Daniel,
This is a much clearer version than I have. However, the V9958 Technical
Manual v1.0 only covers the differences.
You will also need the V9938 Technical Data Book at the following address.
http://www.msxarchive.nl/pub/msx/docs/datasheets/v9938.pdf
I have an excellent PDF of it, but I don't remember where I got it, so I'll
email to anyone who needs it. I'll post it here when I find it.

V9958 is used on the MSX2+ and TurboR MSX machines.
