MROFF, a "medium" size near-clone of nroff, doesn't do a particularly
good job driving an epson printer.

The problem is bold and underline. MROFF doesn't know about specific
printers, it just has 2 schemes for dealing with these: 1) backspace
and overstrike characters, or 2)carriage-return and overstrike the
entire line.

Niether work well with Drivewire's epson emulator (which at least
doesn't barf out when it sees a backspace like my old DMP-106
did!). Backspace and overstrike leaves only occasional extra
characters. Carriage-return and overstrike, as you can guess, leads
to many blank lines in the printout.

This would be less annoying, but there's a LOT of documentation in
mroff form. All Kreider's Clib docs for starters...

I may have to modify the filter I use when dumping MROFF output to the
screen!
