[Coco] MESS at 16k non-ext was Terminal program for 16K non-ECB coco?

Hey guys,
Is there a way to get MESS to run as Coco 2, 16k,  Color Basic (no ext Basic). I tried removing the disk & ext basic Roms but it errors without ext basic. Also when I set the properties to 16k, it still comes up showing 24k on a "PRINTMEM" except the Cocoe which seems to have combined roms, so that's not taking either. I tried all three Coco 2s. I don't use MESS regularly so I'm at a loss. I know some of you do custom builds. We need an emulation of Cocos at 4k, 16k,32k with no Ext or Disk Roms. It seems MESS wil allow the Disk rom to be pulled but not Ext Basic.

Art: I WISH i had some rs232 packs. They are getting a little hard to  
find now. Thanks for the terminal names. Im gona try and hunt those  
down. For now im limited to the bitbanger and tape.

Aaron: Thanks for pointing out that program. I actually have that  
issue in print but the tape has been lost with time. I have Sept84 on  
tape :-/  If it comes down to it i'll have to type it in.

Bill: Mikeyterm's bin is 17K so i don't think its gona work on my  
lowly 16K CB coco2 :( If you happen to come across the older version  
send it my way please.

I did have some success with a few programs on rtsi. I got 2 to load  
on the little coco2..
TAPETERM.BIN loads fine but I can't get it to work all that great at  
300 or 1200. It drops letters or just displays extra garbage. I tryed  
2 different CoCo2s.
TMSTERM.BIN loads and works. BUT it seems you can't change the  
settings from 300 8n1. Also it only displays UPPERCASE (not even  
inverse text) and can only send lower case. I don't mind the 300bps  
all that much but not being able to SEND upper case is kinda an issue.

The hunt continues.
