[Coco] src code for ascii to hex Q

Greetings;

Was there ever such a code snippet published in the Rainbow? Effectively 
the reverse of Tim Kientzle's hextoascii that was published in '92?

If I can locate something like that, I won't have to re-invent that 
particular wheel for bootlink.
