There are DISPLAY codes used to position the cursor, from what I remember. I believe for level 1 it was CHR$(2) for cursor x,y; and you had to add 32 to both the x and y values (ex. To position the cursor at 10,5, you would send CHR$(2);CHR$(42);CHR$(37);
There are other display codes for moving the cursor relative to it's current position, going to the top left, and clearing the screen. I think.
