Hi,

You can put anything you want in the 8x8 or 6x8 matrix for each character.

I may have seen a program that would help in designing the characters, but 
it has been two or three decades since I may have seen it.

Perhaps modifying the Basic09 Icon editor was what I remember was done. Or 
did I do something that might help myself? I remember vaguely I might have.

It may not be a big job to read in one of Microsoft character sets and write 
out one for OS-9.
