No, they were edited using DynaStar as it loads the buffer from disk. I also found the original compiler and it compiles fine. NO files were cut in size unless they got too big for that compiler, then they were permanently moved out to a new sub. To do so would be a complete mess as you are talking wading through hundreds of lines of code to find what variables need to be carried with the routines, what ones need to left there as well... waaaay too much work. These files were edited in place and compiled as they are. Near the very end, Mike did use the MM-1 for developement as he was making a version for the MM-1, but he always brought it all back to the Coco for testing and editing the OSK code to Coco. But this was much later and almost at the very end of the Coco versions before he moved comepletely to Linux.

Hi,

You are stuck with large source files because they were edited on OSK using 
an editor that was not limited in memory.

The files were then cut down to size for CoCo 6809 OS-9's "C" compiler.
