I streamed the video in a way that isn't easily recordable, and
intentionally did not record the source.  This is because in talking
with those who were not excited about the idea of a live stream, I
came to understand what I think are some very valid concerns.

There are some portions of the fest, such as a presentation where the
presenter is aware of the recording, or a "everybody say hi to the
folks at home" type video that Allen Huffman has put together in the
past, where I think recording is great.  However for the majority of
the time we are visiting, having conversation, sharing ideas etc.
We're not putting on a show.  Don't want to worry about everything we
say or do being "on the record".  Detracting from the enjoyment of
those at the fest is the last thing I'd want to do.

To balance this with the goal of extending awareness and provide some
amount of participation for those who cannot attend, I tried to set up
the camera in a very obviously visible place with a laptop open to the
chatroom.  This way people who were "on camera" and in range of the
mic hopefully were there because they want to be, and they could talk
with the guys online.  I probably didn't get that part perfect but I'm
learning as we go :)

An interesting thing that sort of just happened was that John Mark
Mobley started chatting with the guys online, and then carried the
camera/laptop around the floor showing them things they asked to see,
answering questions and so on.  I thought that was great and I know
the guys online enjoyed it.

Anyway... back to your question, I hope there are no recording of the
feed and I tried to prevent it, hopefully you'll understand why.  I
think there is a way to record appropriate parts and share them but I
didn't have that in place last year.
