[Coco] Read coco disks on a PC

Speaking of... I just bought a $15 USB 3.5" drive so I can read some old floppy disks from a 1987 Tandy laptop I just sold on eBay. I wondered if a 5 1/4 could be hooked to the interface. Even if it only worked with the high density 1.44 devices, the 80 track 5 1/4 drives could at least read 40 track... Anyone tried this? I haven't had a computer with a floppy drive since 98!
