There have been attempts to patch RSDOS and make use of the H6309 as well. I had 
my hand in this but there has never been much interest. Perhaps with the 
exception of ADOS3, there have not been complete rewrites.

You should study the info on RSDOS regarding POKEs to make corrections or 
improvements and you could write your own.
