It was a single user operating system. When you listed the directory it
had to think a bit before it listed the files. The emulator used a
context sensitive hotkey system that was quite well thought out.

We were using Boston System Office assemblers which seemed to be rather
slow.

Yeah ... well the over wrote the magnetic tape holding much of the
system project source code which wasn't real good. No backups. They
weren't very well organized back then.
