Hi

What you are saying Windows 8 (and 7) are doing is very similar to what Linux 
(and I assume UNIX) have been doing all the long. Each user loaded and ran 
programs in their own Home Directory. I realized what MS was doing when Vista 
came out and I was one of the few to applaud them. Not sure if OS-9 does that 
because I never ran it in a multi user mode. One can only do so much in a 512k 
1.7mhz environment 8-).
