I had NO problem, note the use of "(Bulk Eraser Needed!)".
With a head half as wide the other half must be erased before hand. My
friend who got the 40T disks I wrote had no problem with my disks, many
problems with disks from others.
I do totally agree that "instant trash" would be created if I ever tried to
write to one of his formatted 40T disks.
