You can use 2764 or 27128 EPROMs with the Cloud-9 DOS Adapter.

Well I did stumble upon a solution from Cloud-9, I think?

Would this adapter accept the 2764 chips I already use in the FD-502 though?
Otherwise I would have to acquire 27128's

Hey everyone, I know most here probably haven't dealt with floppy
controllers in a long time, but giving this a shot anyways.

I'm probably about to acquire a FD-500 or FD-501 drive unit and, if so would
like to replace the stock ROM with a patched version by utilizing a EPROM.

Now, I've already done this with my FD-502 unit (Thanks to Mark at Cloud 9
for the first implementation of this to get me going) and have spare FD-502
Carts with EPROMs in different configurations. However, I've just got
28-pin chips like the FD-502 uses, not 24-pin EPROM for the FD-500/501
series. I have searched for what would be an appropriate EPROM replacement
but so far the answer eludes me. I have a burner setup and all, just need
to get the chip.

Would something like this work? http://cgi.ebay.com/270481959764

I found some information online about getting a 24-pin to 28-pin adapter for
maybe a 27128 but not sure if an adapter would even allow a chip to fit
inside the cartridge casing.

Thanks for any help.
