Oh Wow.. I think it's the latter. But don't bet anyone's life in that 8-). 
LIke Battleship, evertime your sailing ship take a hit, part of it 
dissappears. Now that I think a little more, it may just be VDGint.

Sorry, I wish I could be more concise. I just did a faily extensive search for 
the game and it seems to have dissappeared. Found Gate Crasher.. does that 
count? 8-)
