Hi Roy and everyone:
I am sorry to hear about your dad as well. I lost my grandparents to
cancer, one right after another over 5 years ago and I still miss them
terribly. And real recently a really good friend of mine passed very
un-expectedly who was a mentor and colleague and was very knowledgeable in
Tandy computers.. before he bought the computer store he ran, he was a
manager of a Radio Shack for a few years. And he was an electronics guru.
The sad part on this was that he was only 60 when he passed.
Anyhow, there are times when a person passing leaves a black hole sized
space in the world by their passing and we can only try to remember them in
the best light. In the case of my friend, it was like a library was burned
down. It has been 2 years since he passed and I still miss talking with him
and hanging out... the real interesting part is I didn't think we were all
that close and definitely when I first met him, I did not like him... he was
one of those people that grow on you!
So always remember the good times!
