Humm, OK, I'm full of it again.
The termcap library Curses supports is
http://www.rtsi/com/OS9/OS9_6X09/PROG/Termcap_Level2.lzh

which does NOT include an actual termcap database. :-(

Therefore I don't know *where* I got the termcap file that's on my
CoCo.  Frankly, I've got too many different termcap files on too many
different machines to even guess.

On the upside, that means I don't need to feel bad if I edit the
database and distribute it with curses. ;-)
