One after thought. I don't think we all need to know what your histories were with one company / individual or another. I realize it may have sounded like I wanted the back and forth between Cloud9 and Roger to stop, it is actually between anyone piping in about their issues with one or the other.

I am done, thanks.

The first year I joined this list there was another flame war going on, and another budding CoCo hardware developer just cut his ties from the list. He had proposed some interesting hardware he was working on/planning to work on. But now he has been silent even if he may still monitor the list.

Everyone is entitled to develop things for the old systems, and like the real commercial world out there many ideas get copied. There are reasons to choose each, and reasons to choose neither one or the other. Advertising has always shown comparisons to competitors, sometimes advertising is perfectly accurate and other times advertising is garbage. We educated consumers will know what is what and make our decisions appropriately. So wether in this case Roger or Cloud9 has the best product of choose, well we can all decide for ourselves, with what ever form of advertising they choose. When my thinly spread big boy toy budget gets destined to my CoCo, I will choose the product that has the best options for my needs.

But when we continuously retaliate in a public forum, we demonstrate how silly we can be. I would say childish but I have seen children that behave better than some of us here on this list.
