[Coco] Need a FD 502 controller that can accept 28 pin roms

Todd,

Yes the case will close.

Yes the EPROM from the HDB-DOS pack will work in the FD-50x. No traces to cut.

If you wanted it switchable, the board has the inputs to make the selection. What would need to be done is to combine the two EPROMs into one. Offer stands, $10 to combine, includes shipping and I'll throw in the 27xxx as well, have a ton of them.

You probably bought the pak from Boisy or I got it from him to send to you if you bought more than one item on your order. The pack is probably DW3 and the other is stock.

Email me privately for the details, if you want to proceed that way. Don't like doing business on the list but it is mostly capability content.  ???? :)

Will that eprom adapter fit the FD501 and still be able to close the case? Also, I think it was you I got this HDBDOS 1.2 rompak from.  If I remove eprom from that and put it in your adapter and then the FD501, will that work on a coco3 without cutting traces or soldering wires? Also, if i want both DECB 2.1 AND HDBDOS selectable, id need to send the eprom back to you to get reprogrammed right?
