Well, as long as you've got the N different AR programs needed to
unarchive them... 

It's far more annoying on a floppy-only system.  On a hard drive, it
really doesn't matter so much if you need 4 or 5 different versions of
the same program.  As long as you have them, they can just sit in
/dd/cmds.
