FWIW, that's plenty of power to run Linux quite well in a VM under
VirtualBox or VMware, especially without the a GUI.  You could
probably run 2 or 3.

I run Win7 in VirtualBox on my hackintosh netbook (atom processor/2gb
ram/os x).  It's quite usable.
