Ok, it seems that the Win32 Disk Imager program suggested by another 
member is working from Windows 7 without an issue.  I just cloned my 
2GB house copy of the Drive Pak MicroSD card into another brand of 
card, inserted it into the pak, and everything works as expected so far.
