[Coco] .cas & .bin files with drivewire

There are several support programs associated with various emulator 
packages to either play cas files directly or convert them to wav files. 
Similar programs will put files onto .dsk images. 

Is there a way for VCC to convert a .cas file to a .wav file and will it also bundle a bunch of .bin's into a .dsk file?
Or is MESS the only way to go? I haven't used MESS much so am unfamiliar with it.
