Ok, I got this sort of working via telnet, if anyone wants to see a 20
yr old BBS running on OS-9, its at home.spogbiper.com 6809 or
telnet://home.spogbiper.com:6809 for the URL inclined.
There is an account with username 'test', password 'poop' if you want to log in.
There are problems, and no promised that it will stay up. For one, it
seems to alternately believe the year is 2010 and 1910, which makes
weird things occur. It also seems to use an awful lot of ram, in fact
getting 2 sessions logged in seems difficult. Both of these issues
are probably correctable.

At least for the OS-9 Level 2 BBS, the commands are all written in assembly and are small, so a disassembly project on those would be fun if someone wanted to tackle that.
