I forgot to mention that when I DO get a copy, I will be making every effort to get it digitized (PDF or whichever) ASAP.

Wow! Sorry for the delay on the appreciation, but I didn't expect such a rapid response as I had had such a hard time finding any information in the past. You guys are great!
Richard, thanks very much for the welcome and the invitation. As I live in the Dallas area and have two small children, it might be a challenge to make it to Illinois. But definitely something to keep in mind, as I'm sure it will be enjoyable.
Tim, you put me in a state of shock. I'll email privately. Thanks!
Dave, your information is priceless, not just for looking up a book of adventures. ;) Thanks so much for doing that research. You gave me my second shock when I found out how much that book is going for on the street. Seems like they ultimately are all coming from one source, though. Intriguing is that it was much cheaper at the UK Amazon site, but they won't ship to a US address from there!
Mr. Boyle (do I call you L. or Curtis?), I recognized your name immediately. I thought at the time (I was 16) that it sounded like an author (cf L. Ron Hubbard, one of my dad's favorite SF authors, or L. Frank Baum even!) or well-to-do. LOL. Congrats again a quarter century later for placing in the top 18 with a wonderful work. I wouldn't want to part with my only copy, either. But thanks for replying - more great memories.
Steve, 2 copies?! Staggering. Thanks for the heads-up. No sense in digging thru all that snow, for sure. I'll email you as well.
The best thing I enjoyed about writing the adventure was coming up with a way to parse full sentences and multiple commands (ie, do this then do that) on one line. I've since then gone on to OO programming and to web design, but I still think the CoCo had more potential power at the the time than anything else available, and even today I'm amazed at what's still going on as I read through these list posts.
Thanks again very much to each of you. I'm looking forward to hearing about more of your exploits!!
Terry

Hi Terry
Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of that publication. Welcome to the group.
If you live close enough or are inclined to do it, join us at the next
CoCoFest in Elgin, Ill on May 15 & 16. See the Glenside Color Computer Club
Web site for details.
Sincerely
Richard
