[Coco] Pulldown menus in Basic09

Hi all,

I know we have a menuing system for OS9, and this can be relatively easily implemented in Basic09. This system, however, is only available for graphics screens as far as I know. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

How difficult would it be to write a TEXT-based menu system for use with Basic09 (or any other language)? There have been times when I think such a system would have made my programmes easier to write, and of course they would have a smaller footprint by using a text screen instead of a graphics one.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?
