[Coco] OT: My wife's medical clearance

Hello coco friends,

After many months of anguished waiting, my filipina wife Catherine has finally got her medical clearance from the Australian embassy in Manila. She now just needs to get clearance for her 4 year old son, which is just a formality, and she should have her permanent entry visa very soon after that.

The visa application was started in October 2008, and is finally coming together.

I will be going to the Philippines on 1st February for 3 months to say a last goodbye to my friends and family there, since I don't think we will be returning for at least a few years.
