I've been exploring the files on the rtsi archive. I found 'cp'
(ftp://www.rtsi.com/OS9/OS9_6X09/UTILITIES/cp.ar) and I think it's my
favorite tool so far.
cp works a lot like the unix cp. You can copy one or more files to a
destination and you do not have to specify the filename, just the path
(you can specify it if you want to, effectively copying and renaming
at the same time). It also accepts wildcards using *.
So 'cp' gives you the functionality of dsave and copy, plus makes
things easier by not requiring a destination file name (if you don't
want to change it anyway) and letting you specify a group of files to
copy in a single command, either with wildcards or by listing several
source files. really great!
This makes me wonder, are there other great utils for basic tasks that
everyone but me knows about?
